Warren Greatrex will give Grade One-winning hurdler One Track Mind a confidence booster on his next start by easing him in class.

The six-year-old trailed home a disappointing last on his chasing debut having been sent off favourite for a Grade Two contest at Newbury on Friday after failing to recover from a mistake at the first fence.

Greatrex said: "He made a horrific error at the first. He has never made a mistake at home and he has just been brilliant.

"He then comes to the races and does that at the first fence and it is game over.

"He was never able to make up that ground and Gavin (Sheehan) looked after him. He kept going after that and when he warmed up he was OK. He will learn a lot from that.
