Southwell and Lingfield Park forced into inspections following frost

This afternoon's meetings at Southwell and Lingfield face further course inspections at 10.30am.
Officials at Southwell remained optimistic about the prospects of the fixture going ahead after calling a second inspection, but that check proved no more decisive, with a third inspection called for 10.30am.
Officials at Lingfield have also called for a further inspection ahead of this afternoon's jumps meeting after the first two checks proved inconclusive.
Temperatures at the track are reported to have dropped as low as minus 5.9C overnight with a high of 4C forecast for today.
Checks at 7.30am and 9.30am proved inconclusive, with officials deciding to take a third look at 10.30am to determine whether the meeting can go ahead.
That second check proved no more decisive though, with a third inspection called for 10.30am.
