Wales forward Matty Barron breaks leg during charity match

Wales forward Matty Barron suffered a double leg break during his team's 36-20 win over Keighley in the Danny Jones Memorial match at Cougar Park.
Rhys Williams touched down twice but the match was overshadowed by the injury Barron sustained in an accidental clash in the seventh minute which caused a 20-minute stoppage.
Wales coach John Kear, whose side return to European Championship action against France in Cardiff on Friday, said: "The very big downside was Matty Barron's injury.
"He's broken his tibia and fibula so it's a clean break of two bones in the leg. It put a dampener on the game.
"Six minutes in and everyone was full of enthusiasm and I don't think the game ever recovered from that. All the lads give them his best wishes but obviously it's put an end to his European Championship campaign."
The match was a final fundraising event to support the family of Danny Jones, the Wales international who died while playing for Keighley earlier this year.
Kear added: "The players played for nothing for Danny Jones' family and the event was a worthwhile exercise all round."
