Four bids under consideration to create new Bradford club

The Rugby Football League will assess four official bids to create a new professional rugby league club in Bradford.
The governing body say they received 12 requests for further information after seeking offers for the club and that number was reduced by two thirds after Monday's noon deadline.
"The four bids that have been submitted will remain confidential and will now be thoroughly assessed by the RFL executive which aims to make a recommendation to the RFL board as soon as possible," a statement said.
"Bradford is a great city with a rich rugby league heritage and deserves a professional club that supporters can be proud of."
The Bulls went into liquidation last Tuesday after administrators who had been running the debt-ridden club for the previous seven weeks failed to find a buyer.
The RFL say the club will be allowed to continue in the Kingstone Press Championship, which kicks off in a month's time, if suitable new owners can be found.
Among the likely bidders are London businessman Richard Lamb and New Zealand-born David Thorne, a former owner of Wasps rugby union club.
Thorne, who saved Wasps from bankruptcy in 2012, has already registered a new company under the named of Bradford Bulls Capital Ltd and informally met players of the old Bradford club last week.
