Castleford are on an 'incredible journey' and can reach the Super League Grand Final, according to Terry O'Connor

We have three huge games of rugby league to enjoy over the next three days - and they are all live on Sky Sports.

By Saturday evening we will know which two teams will contest the Grand Final and which team will be playing Super League rugby next season as Leigh take on Catalan Dragons in the Million Pound Game.

We begin on Thursday in Castleford as the Tigers take on St Helens in the first Super League semi-final. Castleford won the League Leaders' Shield for the first time in its history this season, but now face a tough St Helens side who have far more experience of playing in these big games as they bid for their 11th Grand Final appearance.

Saints are also the only team to have won at The Jungle this season.

The Tigers hope to have Luke Game available just 16 days after an appendix operation. Gale was initially expected to miss the rest of the season, but having been named the Rugby League Writers and Broadcasters Association player of the year, is back in training and could feature.

Sky Sports' Terry O'Connor expects the Tigers to handle the pressure well.

"All year they have been under pressure and they seem to have ripped up the book of how you play rugby league," he told Sky Sports News HQ. "They've stripped the game back to be like a team you might have watched in the 1950s and 60s. They're absolutely incredible.

"St Helens are always dangerous, they've contested 10 Grand Finals and won five of them and they're happy nobody is talking about them. You've got the best attacking team in Castleford going up against the best defensive team in the competition. Saints know the winning formula when you get down to these sorts of games and they can cause an awful lot of problems for Cas.

"But Castleford have only lost five games all year, two of the players nominated for the Man of Steel award are from Castleford. It's been an incredible journey for them over the last 10 years and I think it's going to end with them getting to Old Trafford."

On Friday, we get the second semi-final as Leeds Rhinos clash with Hull FC at Headingley.

Rob Burrow and Danny McGuire will go down as Leeds Rhinos legends, says Terry O'Connor ahead of Super 8s semi-final with Hull FC

The match will represent the final game at Headingley for Rhinos legends Danny McGuire and Rob Burrow. McGuire is moving to Hull KR at the end of the season while Burrow is to take up a role with the youth development programme and O'Connor expects it to be an emotional night in Yorkshire.

"These two players have been everything about the Rhinos," he said. "They are as tough as they come and have come through the system. They are two of the modern day greats."

Hull have an awful recent record at Leeds' home, but they did thrash Leeds in the Challenge Cup semi-final, so much will depend on which version turns up on Friday evening.

"They are a big side. They have some huge, huge forwards. They are a very confident side. When they've got the space and the right attitude they are going to cause some problems."

Then, on Saturday, comes the Million Pound Game as Leigh face off against Catalans Dragons in a winner-takes-all battle to play Super League rugby next season.

Sky Sports Rugby League expert Terry O'Connor believes Leigh will defeat Catalan in the Million Pound Game

Leigh have home advantage following the Dragons' 12-10 defeat to Widnes last Saturday and O'Connor thinks that could be vital in Saturday's outcome.

"Catalans have played brilliant rugby over the years, I just think they are lacking something. They get to the back end of the year and they just seem to fall apart," he said.

"I don't think they are a side that is full of confidence. They had the chance to go for a penalty two minutes from time against Widnes, they chose to run the ball. If they'd kicked the penalty, they would have been playing at home and I would be far more confident. I think Leigh will have a good day on Saturday."
