Widnes skipper Michael Brown returns for Sunday's home clash with Castleford after a three-game absence, with wingers Joel Monaghan and Denny Solomona back for the Tigers.

Wigan are without captain Sean O'Loughlin for the trip to Wakefield, who are seeking a fourth successive Super League win.

Wakefield defeated Salford last weekend to claim their third Super League win in successsion

Wakefield have back-row forward Anthony Tupou, hooker Stuart Howarth and centre Ashley Gibson returning from injury, with Jason Walton dropping out of the team that beat Salford.

Wigan are without O'Loughlin and second rower Liam Farrell because of injury and suspension but back rower John Bateman is set to return after sitting out the defeat by Warrington through concussion.

Warriors coach Shaun Wane has called up 18-year-old Academy player Jack Wells alongside prop Joe Bretherton, who is also hoping to make his debut.

Widnes were beaten by in-form Catalans last weekend

Widnes are boosted by the return of skipper Kevin Brown, who was missing for their three consecutive defeats, as well as centre Chris Bridge, second rower Setaimata Sa and hooker Lloyd White.

Castleford have wingers Joel Monaghan and Denny Solomona back from injury, taking over from Ben Crooks and Jy Hitchcox, along with prop forward Gadwin Springer who replaces the injured Grant Millington.

Tigers Coach Daryl Powell has also included youngsters Keiran Gill and Conor Fitzsimmons in his 19-man squad.
