Warrington Wolves have issued a series of banning orders following crowd incidents at their recent Widnes Vikings away fixture.

One male has received a life ban from all Warrington fixtures, both home and away, following a previous offence in which a short-term ban was issued.

Three further males have received two-year bans from the Halliwell Jones Stadium until 2020.

Warrington worked with Widnes to successfully identify the offenders from the game on February 16 at Halton Stadium, which Warrington won 18-10.

A club statement read: "The club, and the sport of Rugby League, will not tolerate the behaviour displayed and will not allow a small minority to overshadow the fantastic true supporters at Warrington Wolves."

They added: "The club would like to thank supporters for their co-operation in assisting with identifying these offenders and, for the continued support of the club and team."
