Leeds Rhinos will begin the defence of their Super League crown against Warrington Wolves live on Sky Sports.

Brian McDermott's men clinched the treble in a fairy-tale season for the club and will welcome the Wolves and the Sky Sports cameras to Headingley as they start their new era without influential figures Kevin Sinfield, Jamie Peacock and Kylie Leuluai.

Wigan Warriors, Super League runners-up for the second year running, get their 2016 season underway with a game at home against the Catalan Dragons on Friday February 5, whilst 2015 Challenge Cup finalists Hull KR take on Castleford Tigers in one of two fixtures staged on February 7.

Later in February, three of Super League's top performing clubs of 2015, Leeds, Wigan and St Helens will go head to head with the top three NRL sides from 2015 with the Warriors taking on Brisbane Broncos, Rhinos taking on the North Queensland Cowboys and St Helens taking on the Sydney Roosters in a rematch of the first ever World Club Challenge.
