Catalans Dragons prop Mickael Simon has signed a new two-year contract which will keep him at the Gilbert Brutus Stadium until the end of the 2020 season.

The 31-year-old France international is in his second spell with the Perpignan club, for whom he made his 100th Super League appearance in last Saturday's 44-16 win over Castleford.

"I'm really happy to sign a new contract and to stay here for the next two seasons," said Simon, who rejoined the Dragons after a two-year spell at Wakefield 18 months ago.

"My family and I really love the club and I'm grateful to the board and the staff for having faith in me."
