Hull KR prop Mitch Allgood has been charged with making deliberate contact with a match official.

Allgood has been accused by the Rugby Football League's match-review panel of a grade B offence after remonstrating with referee Richard Silverwood over his decision to award a try to Hull winger Curtis Naughton during his side's 28-16 derby defeat at the Magic Weekend in Newcastle.

If the Australian forward is found guilty when he appears in front of a disciplinary tribunal on Tuesday, he could be banned for one or two matches.

Team-mate Shaun Lunt, who was sin-binned for a dangerous throw on prop Liam Watts in the same match at St James' Park, has been charged with a grade A offence.

Salford winger Justin Carney is facing a potential two-match ban after being charged with a grade B dangerous throw on centre Chris Bridge during his side's 18-12 win over Widnes in the opening game of the Magic Weekend.
