Huddersfield winger Jermaine McGillvary is set to make his England debut in the third and deciding Test against New Zealand at Wigan on Saturday.

McGillvary has been called into coach Steve McNamara's 19-man squad, along with Wigan scrum-half Matty Smith, who is poised for a recall on home turf at the DW Stadium.

The pair are expected to replace Wigan 21-year-olds Joe Burgess and George Williams as McNamara makes changes to his starting line-up.

Both winger Burgess and half-back Williams remain in the 19, with McNamara unlikely to confirm his team until 90 minutes before kick-off, but they look likely to pay the price for a below-par team performance, at least on attack, during last Saturday's 9-2 defeat at the Olympic Stadium in London.

Centre Leroy Cudjoe, McGillvary's Huddersfield team-mate, and Warrington forward Ben Westwood are the two players left out of the England 19 after being unused in the first two Tests against the Kiwis and the opening autumn international against France.

McGillvary, 27, was named in the 2015 Super League Dream Team after topping the try-scoring list with 27 touchdowns, including 13 in the Super 8s, a run that came to a halt in his club's 32-8 defeat by Wigan at the DW Stadium.

Smith played in all three matches of the 2014 Four Nations Series after making his debut against Samoa in Brisbane and will be re-united with his half-back partner Gareth Widdop.

McNamara said: "We have had a great week with our preparation and the players are well aware of the importance of the game and the improvements we have to make from our previous matches to give ourselves every chance of beating a strong New Zealand side.

"We will have to be at our best to win but we'll relish the pressure of playing against a quality team in front of a full house at Wigan."
