Chris Sandow has been named in Warrington's Grand Final squad while Wigan captain Sean O'Loughlin will be given every chance to play.

Former Parramatta half-back Sandow has not played since sustaining a knee injury in the Wolves' 12-10 Challenge Cup final defeat at Wembley six weeks ago but Smith said earlier in the week he would be tempted to recall him if he was fit.

Dec Patton has deputised during Sandow's absence and would be the man to make way if the Australian gets the nod when Smith announces his line-up on Saturday.

Smith has also called up experienced prop forward Ryan Bailey, a Grand Final winner with Leeds who has missed the last two matches with a calf injury, and back-up hooker Brad Dwyer.

As expected, Wigan recall prop Ben Flower following the completion of a two-match suspension for what will be the 200th appearance of his career. Skipper O'Loughlin was not named in their initial 19-man squad but Shaun Wane said on Friday that he will take part in the captain's run and could feature.

"He's trained this week, he's trained Friday morning," said Wane. "We will have a look at him in the team run and go through to the warm-up before the game and if he's good we will put him in.

"He's too valuable, he's too good a player."
