St Helens forward Jonah Cunningham will join his father Keiron at Leigh next season after the clubs agreed a loan deal.

The 19-year-old, who had a spell on dual registration with Sheffield Eagles in 2017, has signed a new contract with Saints but will spend the 2018 season with the Centurions.

Keiron Cunningham is now head of rugby at the Leigh - back in the Championship after their one campaign back in Super League ended with defeat to Catalans Dragons in the Million Pound Game - after being sacked as St Helens coach in April.
