Andy Murray reaches round three of Cincinnati Masters

Andy Murray saw off a spirited challenge from American veteran Mardy Fish to reach the third round of the Cincinnati Masters in Ohio.
The British No 1 conquered his 33-year-old opponent in straight sets, winning 6-4 7-6 (7-1), to continue the bright spell of form which saw him triumph in the Montreal Masters to oust Roger Federer as No 2 in the ATP World Tour rankings.
The 28-year-old did not have it all his own way and was broken by Fish in his second service game of the first set.
However, Murray managed to fight back, eventually taking the set 6-4, despite being broken again when serving for the opening set at 5-3.
The second set was far from conclusive either with the pair again trading breaks of serve as they fought towards a tie-break which Murray dominated, winning 7-1.
The Scot saw his serve broken four times in total by the soon-to-retire Fish, which will be a cause for concern as the 2012 US Open champion looks to regain his crown at the end of the month.
Murray paid tribute to former world No 7 Fish in the aftermath of their late night encounter on Twitter.
Posting a picture of the pair, he tweeted: "With @MardyFish after our match tonight/this morning! One of my trickiest opponents, good person, fun guy who's been unfortunate these last few years.
"All the best for the US Open and your life after tennis!"
Next up for Murray is Grigor Dimitrov in round three, he eliminated him from the quarter-final stage at Wimbledon in 2014.
