Vicky Gomersall has worked with us for eight years, seven of them as a presenter.
She started life on Sky Sports News as a reporter back in 2002 and was based at our Manchester bureau, which meant regular interviews with Sir Alex Ferguson and then-City boss Kevin Keegan.
A keen Liverpool fan she was also one of the first to bring us the sad news of the death of Reds legend Emlyn Hughes - a story that still stands out for her today.
After a year as a reporter, Vicky made the switch to presenting Sky Sports News and in her time with us has also presented Football First and the 2010 Women's FA Cup final - won by none other than Everton.
She began her career as a sports journalist with the BBC in Manchester and got her break presenting the sport on North West Tonight, which was anchored by Krypton Factor legend Gordon Burns.
She moved on to BBC Sport 24 before making the switch to Sky Sports News after two years.
But her first job in television was actually on Blue Peter where she wasn't on-screen but was responsible for the expense claims and wardrobe requests of none other than Simon Thomas... who was sat alongside her years later when he made his debut on Sky Sports News!
