Garbine Muguruza pulls out of Hong Kong Open

Garbine Muguruza has withdrawn from this week's Hong Kong Open because of a lingering ankle injury.
Muguruza, who turned 22 last week, moved up to No 4 in the world thanks to victory in last week's China Open in Beijing, where she beat Switzerland's Timea Bacsinszky in the final.
She had previously been beaten by Venus Williams in the final of the Wuhan Open and, after a busy couple of weeks, has decided to take a brief break ahead of the WTA Finals at the end of October.
"Muguruza suffered a left ankle injury while playing in the Wuhan Open at the beginning of October," Hong Kong organisers said on the tournament website.
"The Spaniard will now rest the injury ahead of a likely appearance at the season-ending WTA Finals beginning on October 25."
She is the fourth big name to withdraw from the tournament, following Victoria Azarenka, Eugenie Bouchard and Sabine Lisicki.
