Kyle Edmund beat Davis Cup team-mate Andy Murray to win the inaugural Tie Break Tens title at London's Royal Albert Hall.
Playing in his first match since losing to Belgium's David Goffin in last weekend's Davis Cup final, Edmund beat world No 2 Murray 10-7 in the final to take the $250,000 (£164,437) winner's cheque, more than he'd won all season on tour (£136,085).
The world No 102 had earlier lost to Murray in the group stages, but victory over Spain's David Ferrer put the 20-year-old in the semi-final where he beat Xavier Malisse 10-4.
Murray had beaten former British No 1 Tim Henman in his semi-final tie, with John McEnroe the other player taking part.
