Teenager Katie Swan won again to help Great Britain set up a Fed Cup promotion play-off against Belgium with victory over Georgia on Friday.
Swan, 16, made it two from two with a 6-3 6-3 success over world No 327 Ekaterine Gorgodze and then Heather Watson finished the job off in style, crushing Sofia Shapatava 6-2 6-0 in the second rubber to give them an unassailable 2-0 lead.
In the dead rubber, Jocelyn Rae and Anna Smith lost out Oksana Kalashnikova and Sofia Shapatava 6-2 6-4.
Swan was selected by Murray to make her debut in the tie after Australian Open semi-finalist and British No 1 Johanna Konta withdrew due to injury.
Judy Murray's side will now meet Belgium at the weekend when a place in April's World Group II play-offs will be at stake and the possibility of a first home tie for Britain's women since 1993.
Belgium, who beat Bulgaria in their pool decider on Friday, are likely to start as favourites.
They are led by world No 43 Alison van Uytvanck, who is ranked 42 places above Watson.
Swan, who reached the Australian Open girls' final in 2015, will first bid to bridge a gap of almost 400 ranking places when she faces Ysaline Bonaventure.
