Dominic Thiem claimed his fourth career title by beating Nicolas Almagro 7-6 3-6 7-6 to win the Argentina Open on Sunday.
Thiem, ranked 19th in the world and the youngest player in the top 20, shocked Rafael Nadal to secure his place in the final and he was once again in top form as he saw off the challenge from 2011 champion Almagro in Buenos Aires.
All four of the 22-year-old's career wins have been on clay, with him having claimed trophies on the surface at Gstaad, Umag and Nice, all in 2015.
Thiem had made the final by seeing off Nadal 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 on Saturday, saving a match point in the process.
