Laura Robson's comeback has stalled again as her wrist continues to cause problems.

The 22-year-old has pulled out of what was scheduled to be her first WTA Tour event of the season in Monterrey next week, with Robson's agent saying her wrist is "coming along slowly".

The former British No 1 first began to experience problems ahead of the 2014 season and had surgery on her left wrist, from which she finally returned last summer.

But she brought an early end to her 2015 season after only eight tournaments when she began to experience pain again.

Robson, now ranked 553, has talked positively about her latest comeback, which began at a small tournament in Florida last month.

She lost her first match there but did win two matches at another low-key event before pulling out of a third this week.
