The Rogers Cup continues on Tuesday with two-time Grand Slam champion Stan Wawrinka headlining the action in Toronto.

Swiss No 2 Wawrinka takes on Mikhail Youzhny in the second-round after the Russian defeated Stephane Robert in straight sets.

Other players in action include Gael Monfils, who comes into the tournament having claimed his first ATP Tour title in two-and-a-half years at the weekend.

The 29-year-old Frenchman saved a match point en route to beating Ivo Karlovic in Washington to land his first title since February 2014 in Montpellier.

The 10th seed begins his quest for back-to-back titles when he takes on Portugal's Joao Sousa for the right to meet the winner of the match between home hope Vasek Pospisil and Jeremy Chardy.

Czech former Wimbledon finalist Tomas Berdych faces a stiff examination against highly-talented teenager Borna Coric from Croatia.

There are a whole host of Americans in action, including Donald Young, Steve Johnson, Taylor Fritz, Dennis Novikov, Jared Donaldson and Rajeev Ram.
