Whisper is quietly, but Jamie is the most recent Murray to win a Grand Slam after claiming the US Open doubles titles alongside Bruno Soares.

Andy's elder brother is Great Britain's ace in the pack to be utilised for the doubles match against Argentina. Capable of teaming with any of his four team-mates, Jamie Murray is a specialist currently rated at No 4 in the world.

He also won the Australian Open doubles title this year, but a concern will be that Jamie crashed out of the Olympics at the first hurdle when partnered by Andy.

Stan Wawrinka's US Open victory last Sunday could have been so different if, a week prior, Evans was able to take advantage of match point against the eventual champion.

It was a career-best performance from Birmingham's Evans against Wawrinka in the third round - leading by two sets to one, before failing to complete a fourth-set match point. He previously gave Roger Federer a work-out at Wimbledon before succumbing in straight sets.

He boasted decent Davis Cup pedigree even before last year's triumph - winning decisive fifth rubbers against Slovakia and Russia four years ago.

Kyle Edmund

South Africa-born Edmund was most recently seen against world No 1 Novak Djokovic at the US Open, where he lost in straight sets, but increased his world ranking by 29 places after a career-best Grand Slam showing.

His Davis Cup experience is fleeting but came at Great Britain's most successful moment in 79 years - he made his debut in the final win over Belgium, albeit in a five-set defeat to David Goffin. Armed with strength and power, Edmund is a quickly-rising prospect in British tennis whose inclusion will add firepower against Argentina.
