Viktorija Golubic was handed a place in the final of the Generali Ladies tournament after Madison Keys pulled out of Saturday's semi-final due to illness.

American Keys, who was seeded third in Linz, was suffering from a cold, according to tournament organisers in Austria and Golubic was given a walkover-victory as a result.

World No 62 Golubic of Switzerland will now face Slovakian second seed Dominika Cibulkova, who defeated Carla Suarez Navarro of Spain 6-4 6-3, in Sunday's final.

It will be Golubic's second career final after she won the WTA event in Gstaad in July.
