Novak Djokovic could bring in new super coach to follow in Boris Becker's footsteps

Novak Djokovic says he won't "rush" but has hinted at bringing in a stellar name after surprisingly parting company with his entire coaching team.
The former world No 1 and 12-time Grand Slam champion ended his successful and long-term partnership with his coach Marian Vajda, fitness coach Gebhard Phil Gritsch, and physiotherapist Miljan Amanovic after last month's Masters tournament in Monte Carlo having also ended a three-year relationship with legend Boris Becker at the end of last season.
Andy Murray ousted the Serb as world No 1 at the end of last season after rehiring Ivan Lendl, while another former world No 1, Carlos Moya, has joined Rafael Nadal's coaching team this season.
And with barely two weeks until the defence of his French Open begins, Djokovic has been joined on tour by his brother, Marko, and his spiritual guru Pepe Imaz.
But Djokovic has hinted that he will follow the trend of hiring a highly successful former player, but says he will take his time to make the right decision.
"It's going to be someone that has been through similar experiences like I have," said the 29-year-old.
"Not too many people in the past in tennis have managed to get to that stage and play at that level, so I'll see.
"I'm thinking slowly and thoroughly about it. I don't want to take things with a rush.
"I also know that I'll not stay by myself without a tennis coach for too long. I'm sure difficult paths lead to beautiful destinations, so I'm sticking with that."
Djokovic will begin life without Vajda on Wednesday at the Madrid Masters against Tommy Robredo or Nicolas Almagro.
