Former Aegon Championships winners Grigor Dimitrov and Marin Cilic made it through to the semi-finals at Queen's Club on Friday.
Dimitrov, who won Queen's in 2014, will be hoping to get his hands on the silverware again after moving into the last four with a 6-3 3-6 6-3 win against Russia's Daniil Medvedev.
With Medvedev suffering a shoulder injury during the pre-match warm-up and needing lengthy treatment before he could start playing, it was no surprise Dimitrov won the first set after sprinting into a 5-0 lead.
Medvedev, ranked 60th, gamely levelled the match at one set all, but Dimitrov was too strong in the decider as the world No 11 booked a semi-final clash with Feliciano Lopez.
Lopez, who saved a match point in the third set at 4-5, outlasted the Czech world No 14 over three tight sets securing a 7-6 (5-7) 6-7 (7-1) 7-5 victory lasting two hours and 27 minutes.
The Spaniard, ranked 32nd, sealed the decisive break in the penultimate game of the third set before serving out against the tournament's seventh seed.
The opening two sets had been dominated by serve with only one break point opportunity, by Lopez, being created.
Cilic set up a semi-final clash with Gilles Muller as the Croatian powered to 6-4 7-5 victory over Donald Young.
Having lifted the Queen's trophy in 2012 and finished as runner-up in 2013, Cilic has form at the event and the world No 7 has yet to drop a set in three matches en route to his fourth semi-final appearance at the Wimbledon warm-up event.
"I'm playing really well this week. I'm feeling great on the court," said Cilic, who is chasing his second ATP title this year.
"It is another match without losing serve, so that's extremely pleasing."
Luxumbourg's Muller is through to his first Queen's semi-final after defeating 2010 champion Sam Querrey 6-4 7-6 (7-5).
The 34-year-old, who is now on a seven-match winning streak on grass, said: "I was never top 30 before in my life, and now this year for the first time I have a "2" in front of my ranking. That means a lot.
"Those are things you dream of as a kid, so when it happens it feels good."
