World No 1 Rafael Nadal will face Grigor Dimitrov in the group stages of the ATP World Tour Finals at London's O2 Arena while Roger Federer comes up against Alexander Zverev.

The season-ending tournament which begins on Sunday, November 12 and concludes on 19, live on Sky Sports, will feature the world's top eight men's players.

Group A, named in honour of Pete Sampras, sees Nadal join Dimitrov, Dominic Thiem and David Goffin while Group B, named after Boris Becker, has Federer, Zverev, Marin Cilic, Jack Sock grouped together.

The draw, made live on BBC Radio 2, was delayed by more than an hour on Wednesday morning after Becker got caught in London traffic on his way to the studios.

Nadal and six-time champion Federer are the top two seeds.

Germany's Zverev, Dimitrov of Bulgaria, Belgium's Goffin and Sock of the United States are all debutants.

Austria's Thiem and Croatia's Cilic complete the line-up.

"It's an honour to play there in London, it's my first time and hopefully not my last," Zverev said in Milan where he took part in an exhibition match at the Next Gen Finals, having dropped out to concentrate on London.

"I will try to prepare myself as well as I can and try to win many matches there."
