A look back at Nadal's dominance in the Monte Carlo Masters spanning from 2005

Rafael Nadal is the dominant force and the immovable object at the Monte Carlo Masters, where the great Spaniard has won an historic 10 titles.

Nadal is scheduled to play the event, which would be his first since the Australian Open, aside from Davis Cup.

It will be 15 years since the world No 1 first set foot on the hallowed grounds of the Monte Carlo Country Club and he has been pretty much unbeatable in the Principality ever since.

Nadal became the first player to lift 10 trophies at a single tournament in the Open Era when he defeated fellow countryman Albert Ramos-Vinolas in last year's final.
