Rafael Nadal is the dominant force and the immovable object at the Monte Carlo Masters, where the great Spaniard has won an historic 10 titles.
Nadal is scheduled to play the event, which would be his first since the Australian Open, aside from Davis Cup.
It will be 15 years since the world No 1 first set foot on the hallowed grounds of the Monte Carlo Country Club and he has been pretty much unbeatable in the Principality ever since.
Nadal became the first player to lift 10 trophies at a single tournament in the Open Era when he defeated fellow countryman Albert Ramos-Vinolas in last year's final.
He will be pushing for title No 11 this year as he returns to home comforts where he will hope to find his feet on his favourite clay surface. Click on the video above to see Nadal's dominance in Monte Carlo and then watch highlights of his win here last year in the video below.
