Andy Murray drawn against Benoit Paire in Wimbledon first round

during day six of the Nature Valley International at Devonshire Park on June 27, 2018 in Eastbourne, United Kingdom.

Andy Murray was included in the draw for Wimbledon on Friday – and says he is "likely" to play despite injury issues.

The two-time champion was unseeded and has been drawn against world No 48 Benoit Paire in the first round.

Murray has played just three matches since last year's Wimbledon due to a troublesome hip injury, which was operated on in January, but told The Times after the draw: "I'll chat to my team this afternoon and also see a bit how the next couple of days go. But most likely, yes, I will be playing."

Murray's projected route to the final

  • R1: Paire
  • R2: Chardy/Shapovalov
  • R3: Del Potro
  • R4: Sock/Goffin
  • QF: Nadal
  • SF: Zverev/Djokovic
  • F: Federer

He has fallen to No 156 in the world rankings as a result, but made his return last week at Queen's and also played this week in Eastbourne.

A stand-out match in the opening round will be three-time Grand Slam winner Stan Wawrinka, who was unseeded, against Grigor Dimitrov.

Last year at Wimbledon 14.4m video highlights, including Rodger Federer's eighth title win, views were produced without human intervention.

Defending champion Roger Federer, the top seed, will first play Dusan Lajovic. Rafael Nadal will play Dudi Sela. Fourth seed Alexander Zverev will play James Duckworth.

Three-time Wimbledon winner Novak Djokovic will face Australian Open quarter-finalist Tennys Sandgren.
