The world's best tennis players are in action live on Sky Sports for the US Series of tournaments culminating in the US Open Grand Slam at Flushing Meadows.

Washington ATP 500: 3–9 August

The countdown to the final Grand Slam of the year starts here. Andy Murray and Kei Nishikori are set to feature in the US capital and the latter will be hoping for a better showing than in his last appearance in 2013. Nishikori reached the third round before begin well beaten by Marcos Baghdatis 6-1 6-2. The defending champion is Canadian Milos Raonic who beat compatriot and Wimbledon quarter-finalist Vasek Pospisil 6-1 6-4 in last year's final.

Montreal ATP Masters 1000: 10–16 August

With past champions including Bjorn Borg, John McEnroe and Andre Agassi as well as Roger Federer, Rafa Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Murray more recently, only Wimbledon and the US Open have longer histories than the Rogers Cup. Jo-Wilfried Tsonga triumphed last year having beaten Djokovic and Murray on route to the final, where he saw off Federer 7-5 7-6. The tournament alternates between Toronto and Montreal and is the first of two ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournaments held during the US Open Series.

Cincinnati ATP Masters 1000: 17–23 August

Next up is Cincinnati where Federer is reigning champion. Victory last year gave him is 80th career title and his sixth at this event. It is the Swiss' favourite Masters event having won here more than at any other ATP 1000 tournament. He will face stern competition from Novak Djokovic who will be keen to complete a career Golden Masters with Cincinnati the only Masters 1000 title to elude the world No 1.

US Open: 31 August - 13 September

The big one. The final Slam of the year and while Novak Djokovic looks to claim his third major of 2015 in the men's singles, Serena Williams can go one better and complete a calendar-year Grand Slam in the women's by defending her title. Marin Cilic was the shock winner last year, beating Nishikori in the final but there is no doubt the 'big four' will be back in the hunt at Flushing Meadows this time around.
