You have voted Manchester City and England Women’s striker Nikita Parris as your Sportswoman of the Month for June.
Parris topped the poll with an impressive 42 per cent share of the vote, finishing ahead of para-athlete Olivia Breen in second and cyclist Lizzie Armitstead, who came home third.
The Toxteth-born forward, whose Manchester City side sit top of FA WSL 1, made her England debut at home to Serbia last month before scoring twice in a 7-0 win for the Lionesses in the reverse fixture.
"It's amazing [to be named Sportswoman of the Month for June] and I'd like to thank everyone who voted for me," Parris told Sky Sports News HQ.
"The club has given me an amazing platform to go on and perform for the national team. Both internationally and at club level it has been an amazing season for me and hopefully that will continue."
