WATCH: Jamie Donaldson and Spencer Levin suffer US Open tantrums

Spencer Levin joined Jamie Donaldson in taking out his Oakmont frustrations after the US Open course took it's toll on the pair.

The course just outside Pittsburgh is expected to get more and more difficult as it dries out following early downpours, and it didn't take long for it to get on the wrong side of Ryder Cup hero Jame Donaldson on Friday.

The usually mild-mannered Welshman was playing the long par 12th, the third hole of his second round, and was well placed on two-under par after a couple of early birdies to complement his opening round 70.

However having ran into difficulty making his way up the fairway, he pitched his wedge onto the green with his fifth shot on the par five.

And he proceeded to launch said wedge in the direction of his bag, knocking it over in the process before taking a chunk out of the Oakmont course - hit play on the video at the top of the page to watch Donaldson's meltdown.

And there was more of the same on Saturday as the 7th hole claimed a victim in the shape of America's Levin.
