Smackdown Tag Team Champions Heath Slater and Rhyno beat Breezango in a non-title match on the latest edition of WWE Main Event.
Slater and Rhyno, who won their titles by beating the The Usos at WWE Backlash on September 11, proved too strong for Tyler Breeze and Fandango, who joined forces earlier this year.
The champions will defend their belts at Smackdown's next pay-per-view No Mercy on Sunday, October 9 when they tackle The Usos once again.
Jimmy and Jey Uso earned their title shot by defeating American Alpha stars Chad Gable and Jason Jordan on Tuesday's episode of Smackdown.
Elsewhere on Main Event, two of Raw's cruiserweight competitors, the Baltimore-born Rich Swann and the masked Lince Dorado locked horns, with Swann emerging victorious.
