Former Germany and Werder Bremen goalkeeper Tim Wiese will make his WWE in-ring debut in Munich on November 3.

The 34-year-old will team up with Irish star Sheamus and Swiss wrestler Cesaro to take on The Shining Stars and Bo Dallas.

Wiese was part of the Germany squads at Euro 2012 and the 2010 World Cup and was personally invited to train with WWE by Paul "Triple H" Levesque, the 14-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion, who now stands as the WWE executive vice president, Talent, Live Events & Creative.

"It's awesome to make my first WWE appearance in such a great match," Wiese said. "I worked hard for this moment and I can't wait to step into the WWE ring together with Cesaro and Sheamus."

Wiese jumped at the opportunity handed to him and has undertaken an intensive training program to prepare for the match.

In early September, he spent a week at the state-of-the-art WWE NXT Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, training with other NXT athletes in WWE's developmental division, under the guidance of the NXT coaching team, led by head coach Matt Bloom.

Since then, Wiese has been working out daily in Cologne at a training facility complete with specially-constructed ring.

"As a former elite professional athlete, Tim knows what it takes to focus on a goal and go all-out to achieve it," said Triple H.

"It will be a historic night for WWE in Germany when Tim steps into the ring alongside Cesaro and Sheamus."
