WWE: Good Week, Bad Week - Will Triple H face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania?

Has Roman Reigns overlooked Braun Strowman?

Triple H, and Seth Rollins surprises The Cerebral Assassin with a brawl at the end of Raw

There are just two weeks until the WWE rolls into Orlando for WrestleMania 33 and it seems that many of the matches for the annual event are close to reaching their peak.

Now is the time where every WWE Superstar wanted to be making an impact and putting their name in any conversation that leads to WrestleMania.

Here's Good Week, Bad Week…

GOOD WEEK

Triple H

wwe

The Cerebral Assassin has been waiting to face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania for more than a year, but because of injuries it has looked as though the match could have been scrapped again, this week Rollins proved that he was able to step back in the ring, even if it meant wearing a knee brace, and continue the build-up towards their epic showdown.

Rollins may have brought the fight to the WWE COO this week, but The Game had an answer and locked Rollins in a version of a knee bar to extract more pain to his already injured leg.

The advantage has swung into Triple H's favour just two weeks away from WrestleMania and once again the WWE Universe are unsure whether Rollins will make it to the biggest event of the year.

Austin Aries

WWE - Austin Aries

A week ago Austin Aries was a commentator for Raw and 205 Live - this week he has secured himself a match at WrestleMania for the Cruiserweight Championship. Aries was only commentating whilst he healed from injury and it seems that he has made a full recovery and is ready to take that Championship from Neville on the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Having someone of Austin's calibre on 205 Live gives the show a huge boost and it can only mean great things for the entire division moving forward following WrestleMania season.

AJ Styles

WWE - AJ Styles

AJ could be put in both good week and bad week after the episode of SmackDown he endured a few days ago, not only was he fired from SmackDown Live after he put Shane McMahon through a car window, but he was then given the opportunity that he craved when The SmackDown Commissioner stated that he would be the one facing AJ at WrestleMania.

Technically, AJ isn't part of a show anymore, so he won't have to wrestle for the next two weeks, but he does need to show up in Orlando and go toe-to-toe with his former boss if he decides to accept his challenge.

BAD WEEK

Alexa Bliss

WWE Smackdown - Alexa Bliss

The Wicked Witch of WWE is the current SmackDown Women's Champion, but last week Daniel Bryan announced that she would be defending her Championship against every available woman on the roster, which led to Mickie James turning on her.

This week Alexa was defeated by Mickie after a Mick Kick, which just heaps further mystery on the Champion as she heads into a match where the odds are completely out of her favour.

Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns takes on Jinder Mahal

Roman Reigns was choke-slammed by The Undertaker last week, and this week, even though he managed to defeat Jinder Mahal - it seems that he overlooked Braun Strowman.

Reigns was so focused on calling out The Deadman that he was blindsided by The Monster Among Men and knocked down the side of the ramp.

The landing looked painful and now Roman has to be 100 per cent next week as he goes one-on-one with Strowman.

Kassius Ohno

NXT Champion Bobby Roode vs. Kassius Ohno

Kassius returned to NXT to claim the one thing that had always eluded him, The NXT Championship. Of course, in WWE it is never that easy and with Bobby Roode as the current champion, Ohno knew he had a mountain to climb.

This week on NXT, Ohno was given his shot and even though he put up a good fight against the current champion, it was Roode who came out on top as Kassius failed in his quest to lift the biggest title in NXT for the first time.

This now leaves Kassius in an unfamiliar position, without a match or feud just two weeks away from NXT: Takeover Orlando.
