Paige will be unable to compete in the women's Royal Rumble on January 28 due to a neck injury.
The news was confirmed on this week's episode of Monday Night Raw, at which Absolution's Sonya Deville defeated Sasha Banks.
Paige was at ringside for that match but did not compete due to the injury, which will also keep her out of the historic first women's Rumble later this month.
"As much as it pains me to say this, unfortunately I do have to sit out this Royal Rumble because of doctor's orders," said Paige.
"I really, really wish I could partake in this history-making match with all of these ladies but however I will be there to support my Absolution team of Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose.
"Absolution is still going to make the Royal Rumble match their house."
Paige returned to WWE in November after more than a year on the sidelines with a neck injury which required surgery, and her return - as the leader of the Absolution faction - has been hugely popular with fans.
