SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan addresses every one of his loyal fans after the incredible news that he will once again compete inside a WWE ring.

Daniel Bryan made an emotional return to SmackDown after being medically cleared to return to competitive action - but things didn't go quite to plan.

After being given a rapturous reception by the Dallas crowd when he first appeared live on Sky Sports Arena, Bryan later fired Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for their attack on commissioner Shane McMahon last week.

In the wake of their vicious attack on Shane McMahon last week, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn receive a shock when they are fired by returning general manager Daniel Bryan

The duo - who have styled themselves as the "Yep movement" as a parody of Bryan's own hugely-popular "Yes movement" - then repeated their assault on the returning general manager.

Zayn hit Bryan with a fierce Helluva Kick and Owens nailed him with a Pop-up Powerbomb onto the ring apron in a brutal attack which saw him leave the arena on a stretcher.

With Bryan having been given the green light to return to action, and the fans in the arena chanting "WrestleMania" as he contemplated a competitive return, it seems the solution to the Zayn-Owens problem may now lie in the ring at the biggest event of the year.

On this occasion, however, Styles was in no rush to get into the ring to fight the pair off and instead it was Nakamura who successfully defended himself.

SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair reignites her longstanding rivalry with Natalya, but Carmella tried her best to changed the landscape of the contest.

Last night, during an intense non-tile match between Charlotte Flair and Natalya, she attempted a cash-in after Natalya hit the champion with a crisp spinning powerbomb and superplex.

But before the bell could be rung, Flair hit Carmella with a big boot to neutralise her plan, only to fall victim to a roll-up which gave Natalya a huge win.

SmackDown is repeated in full at 10.30pm on Sky Sports Arena every Wednesday night.
