Braun Strowman is heading to WrestleMania for a shot at the Raw tag team titles - but who will be alongside the Monster Among Men in New Orleans?

Strowman won a tag team battle royal on Raw a fortnight ago to secure a crack at Sheamus and Cesaro's championship.

All that remains is for the Monster to select the man who will stand alongside him at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on April 8.

We take a look at five contenders to join Strowman as he bids to win his first WWE title at the biggest show of the year.

Elias' popularity is growing in WWE

Elias

Is Braun Strowman ready to 'Walk with Elias?' Strowman and Elias have been embroiled in an entertaining feud over the past couple of months which has seen Strowman destroy Elias with a massive cello and slam a piano onto him. But will all be forgiven for the sake of championship gold?

It is possible that Elias may have earned Strowman's respect to the point that arguably the two biggest success stories in WWE of the past year will join forces.

Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe has been out injured since the beginning of the year with a foot injury. Speculation has been rife recently with many reports stating that the Samoan Submission Machine could be nearing a return to the squared circle.

A monstrous team of a combined 666 pounds would not only send shockwaves through Sheamus and Cesaro but the entire Raw tag team division.

A potentially unstoppable team - with huge crowd support - decimating any pretenders could be an almighty game changer.

The Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman story could come full circle

Bray Wyatt

In the famous words of 'Woken' Matt Hardy, Bray Wyatt has been "deleted". On Raw last week, Wyatt's fate was sealed when Hardy threw him into the Lake of Reincarnation following a captivating Ultimate Deletion match.

There were high hopes for Wyatt when he made his main roster debut five years ago. Many believed he had the potential to be a mythical entity in WWE or even possibly become the next Undertaker, a weight of expectation under which he has seemingly struggled.

But now could this story of the man who introduced Strowman to the world as a member of the Wyatt Family three years ago, come full circle, with Wyatt becoming Strowman's partner at WrestleMania?

Big Cass has been on the injured list for eight months

Big Cass

Big Cass has been out injured with a torn ACL for eight months. Much like Samoa Joe, the rumblings of late suggests that the seven-foot tall New Yorker is ready to make a return to the ring. Cass was at the early stages of his singles run when he was injured on Raw during a match with former WWE superstar Enzo Amore.

It is well documented that Vince McMahon is a huge fan of imposing big men in WWE and is always on the lookout for the next giant to mould into a megastar. The Big Show, Kane, The Undertaker and Mark Henry to name but a few, have all gone on to have legendary careers in the company.

This could be a tag team that, if given time, could rival the legendary impact of The Brothers of Destruction, Kane and The Undertaker.

Big Show

The Big Show and Braun Strowman are no strangers to each other. The ring collapsed when the two slugged it out last April, and Strowman slammed Big Show through a steel cage last September, so there is no love lost.

But what Big Show comes with is tag team pedigree. He is a former eight-time tag team champion with four different partners. The Undertaker, Kane, Chris Jericho and The Miz have all held the titles with The Big Show during his decorated career.

Although there have been rumours of Big Show's impending retirement after 19 years in the business, the giant took to Twitter earlier this month and posted a menacing picture of himself looking in great shape at a gym with a teasing caption: "Haven't gone anywhere…"
