Exciting prospect Josh Kelly tops a packed bill as the second instalment of the NXTGEN series heads to Newcastle this Friday night, live on Sky Sports.

The talented 23-year-old has made an impressive transition from the amateur ranks after representing Team GB at last summer's Rio Olympics and will be targeting his third professional win against Tom Whitfield.

Kelly is joined on the card by former Team GB team-mate Anthony Fowler, who is having his second professional fight, while Natasha Jonas makes her pro debut.

The Sunderland man is fighting in the north east for the first time in his paid career and is likely to draw a large crowd of support for his main event meeting with local man Whitfield.

Kelly showcased his flamboyant style in last month's stoppage victory over Jony Vina and will be hoping to pull off another impressive victory.

But Whitfield, a Newcastle fan, will be eager to inflict a shock setback on his highly-rated opponent.

Jonas, another former Team GB boxer, has joined Katie Taylor in the Matchroom stable after signing a promotional deal with Eddie Hearn.

Jonas has already been linked with a future fight against her amateur rival as she will be hoping to avenge a points defeat to Taylor in the quarter-finals at the London 2012 Games.

She must firstly focus on her pro debut and has been preparing alongside the likes of former world champions Anthony Crolla and Liam Smith in Joe Gallagher's gym.
