Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has led Manchester United to six successive league wins, but the club's haul of 44 points has come at a considerable price.

The club have spent £661m assembling their current squad, meaning each point they have won this season has cost more than £15m so far.

Perhaps surprisingly, Everton rank third with an average of £10.2m per point - more than Chelsea (£9.9m) and Merseyside rivals Liverpool (£9m) - while Fulham's average of £8.3m per point is more than Arsenal's £8m.

Watford (£3.9m) and Wolves (£2.8m) appear to be the best value for money, assuming seventh and eighth spot in the Premier League table - despite having squads totalling only £127.6m and £89.3m, respectively.
