Everton are closing on two of their summer transfer targets - Davy Klaassen and Sandro Ramirez - Sky sources understand.
Ronald Koeman has been reportedly linked with a host of players, but Ajax captain Klaassen and Malaga striker Ramirez could be the first arrivals at Goodison Park.
Everton have also agreed a £30m fee with Sunderland for goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
Sky Sports News HQ understands Everton are in advanced talks with Ajax for 24-year-old Klaassen, who has spent his entire professional career with the Dutch side, but a fee is yet to be agreed.
Klaassen has been a regular scorer for Ajax, hitting the target 27 times in the last two seasons, and his arrival could make Ross Barkley's departure more of a likelihood.
Koeman has previously stated he was looking for a replacement for the England midfielder, who has one year left on his contract and has so far failed to agree a new deal.
Ramirez is one of Spain's most promising young players, having scored 14 goals in La Liga last season for Malaga - he had joined the club last summer from Barcelona.
His signing could come at a relative bargain at £5m because of a release clause in his contract with the Spanish side.
