Fulham v Huddersfield preview

Image: Aaron Mooy: Could return for Huddersfield

Tom Cairney will compete for a starting berth as Fulham host Huddersfield in the Sky Bet Championship.

The midfielder made a second-half cameo in Fulham's 1-0 defeat at Aston Villa last weekend after regaining full fitness.

Floyd Ayite could return after ankle trouble, having just failed to reach full fitness in time for the Villa trip.

On-loan Chelsea defender Tomas Kalas remains a doubt having missed the last month with a hamstring issue.

Huddersfield will be without suspended midfielder Jonathan Hogg, who serves a one-game ban after reaching five bookings for the season in last week's home win against Derby.

Australia international Aaron Mooy and Jack Payne are both in contention to return to the starting line-up in Hogg's absence.

Head coach David Wagner has confirmed he hopes to recall skipper Mark Hudson to the heart of defence, alongside Christopher Schindler.
