Millwall could have midfielder Ryan Leonard and new signing Mason Bennett available for Sunday's Sky Bet Championship clash against promotion-chasing West Brom. Leonard has been back in full training after recovering from a knee problem, with his last appearance having come at the start of October.
Striker Bennett signed on loan from Derby and has stepped up his rehabilitation from an ankle injury, so should be in contention for a debut. Veteran goalkeeper Luke Steele, who has rejoined from Nottingham Forest until the end of the season, should provide cover on the bench as Frank Fielding (arm) remains unavailable.
West Brom will have midfielder Matheus Pereira available again following a three-match suspension. New signings Kamil Grosicki and Lee Peltier are now eligible to feature after their deadline-day moves.
Veteran midfielder Gareth Barry is closing in on a return from a calf problem, while teenage defender Nathan Ferguson, who had been set to join Crystal Palace, is to have exploratory knee surgery. Full-back Kieran Gibbs and on-loan West Ham midfielder Grady Diangana continue their rehabilitation from respective hamstring injuries.
Recent form
Millwall are without a win in the league since January 18, but remain within touching distance of the Championship play-off places after a stalemate with Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough last time out. That came after a narrow 3-2 defeat to Leeds and a 2-0 loss to Sheffield United in the FA Cup fourth round.
Following their slip around the turn of the year, West Brom are starting to return to form and have won two of their last three in all competitions. Alarmingly, however, the 2-0 win over Luton in their last game was their first league win since they beat Birmingham 3-2 on December 14.
What the managers said...
Millwall's Gary Rowett: "They're a really good side - a top side, one of the best in the division. Slaven Bilic is an experienced manager and has done a really good job, and they've made some good additions. They have players who can win the game individually as well as part of a team, and they have some experienced players down the spine as well as youthfulness and athleticism out wide. There's a good balance there.
"We're always respectful of the teams in this division, but we're at home and possess a good atmosphere at The Den. We'll need the crowd to be patient when we haven't got the ball, but at the same time we've got to try and make it an uncomfortable game for West Brom."
West Brom's Slaven Bilic: "We hope we have a good run and we are planning to do that. We have a very difficult game, not only one, but all of them. As I said, we have respect for the opponent, as it is a very strong league, but at the same time, we are very confident and we know what we want to do and we are well prepared for it.
"To get a positive result at Millwall we have to be on top of our game and when you play them away you have to be very solid. You have to be good on second balls, good in transition, good in physical contact, good in the air, good at set-pieces, very concentrated, very focused, good in tackles - because there is going to be a lot of them, but also you have to match them or beat them and be good on the ball and be very direct and very up for it.
"They have a good team, they are on a good run, they are very physical, they have the stadium and they are talking that the weather is not going to be the best and the pitch is not the best so it is a big challenge for us, but it is not the first time facing an opponent who is going to play like that."
Talking point: How long will West Brom's slump continue?
Leeds' slip has taken all the headlines in recent weeks, but there's no denying long-time leaders West Brom have been struggling for a few weeks more. They won six on the spin from early November to early December and looked certain to run away with the league title they missed out on last May.
Then their momentum suddenly dropped away. They were held away at Wigan, before drawing four of the next six and, temporarily dropping away from top spot as a result. Some confidence was restored last Saturday with a run-of-the-mill 2-0 win over Luton, but they must build on it - and quickly.

Prutton's prediction
Millwall have hit the buffers in their last couple of games, but it is a credit to the job that Gary Rowett has done since arriving that they are still even in the discussion for the play-offs.
West Brom got back to winning ways last week, and Callum Robinson looks a good addition to the squad, but Luton at home is about as straightforward as it gets this season and this is a real test for them. Draw here for me.
