Jerome Sinclair's proposed loan move from Watford to Norwich is off, Sky sources understand.

Norwich were one of three Sky Bet Championship clubs vying for Sinclair's services, but Sky sources understand the Canaries have not been successful in trying to land the 19-year-old on an initial six-month loan and he will remain at Watford.

England youth international Sinclair joined the Hornets on a five-year deal at the beginning of the summer after leaving Liverpool.

Sinclair spent four years on Merseyside, where he became Liverpool's youngest ever player when he made his senior debut against West Bromwich Albion in 2012, aged 16 years and six days.

The Birmingham-born striker is a product of West Brom's academy but left the club to join Liverpool as a 15-year-old.
