Tjaronn Chery has expressed a desire to leave Queens Park Rangers in the January transfer window, according to Sky sources.
It is understood that a deal to end his stay at Loftus Road could be imminent after two clubs approached Rangers about his availability.
Chery has not been part of the last three QPR match-day squads, including that which beat Ipswich 2-1 win at home on Monday.
Chery has been one of QPR's star performers since he signed from Dutch club FC Groningen in 2015, but R's boss Ian Holloway recently admitted the player has suffered a dip in confidence.
And Holloway has also insisted he would make changes to the squad this month, concentrating on players "who are hungry and experienced".
He said in December: "Tjaronn's losing a bit of confidence. We've relied on two people to get us something for too long - him and Charlie Austin. But we've all got to step up to the plate now."
Chery, 28, began his career as a youth at FC Twente before before spells with FC Emmen and ADO Den Haag. He was loaned to Groningen before joining them permanently in 2014.
