Poland international Kamil Grosicki has joined Hull City from French club Rennes for an undisclosed fee.

The 28-year-old winger has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal at the KCOM Stadium and will help to fill the void left by the departure of Robert Snodgrass to West Ham.

Grosicki came close to joining Burnley last summer but the deal collapsed when Rennes asked for more money at the last minute, after initially agreeing to sell the player for a fee in the region of £7m.

The player had passed his medical and agreed terms with the Clarets and later tweeted that he was "heartbroken" and "devastated" that his dream move to the Premier League had fallen through.
