Blackpool 1-1 Doncaster: Rovers hold Tangerines at Bloomfield Road

Highlights of the Sky Bet League One match between Blackpool and Doncaster.

Doncaster came from behind to draw 1-1 against fellow League One play-off hopefuls Blackpool.

Michael Nottingham's goal four minutes after the break handed the Tangerines the advantage, but Donny skipper Tommy Rowe dragged his side level with a sublime strike at Bloomfield Road.

Rovers, without suspended top scorer John Marquis, started the brighter as Danny Andrew's left-wing cross was stabbed wide by Alfie May inside 20 minutes.

Andrew's low ball to the back post was later blazed over by Ali Crawford, as Liam Feeney nodded Jordan Thompson's cross off-target for Blackpool.

The Tangerines could have gone ahead 10 minutes before the break after Feeney's exploits on the wing teed up a free Armand Gnanduillet, who curled the ball, inches over.

Gnanduillet rose highest in stoppage time to meet Thompson's corner but wasted the opportunity.

But the Tangerines took the lead not long after the restart when substitute Nottingham stabbed home on the rebound after Jay Spearing's corner was nodded onto the bar.
