Goals from Callum Brittain and George Williams consigned Lincoln to their first league defeat of the season as they went down 2-1 at MK Dons.
First-half efforts from Brittain and Williams either side of a Tyler Walker goal were enough for Paul Tisdale's side to bag their second league win of the campaign.
Dons were in front when Kieran Agard's lay-off into the Lincoln six-yard box found defender Brittain, who poked home his first goal of the season from close range.
It did not take the visitors long to snatch a leveller when Walker netted his second in as many games from Jorge Grant's cross.
MK made it 2-1 in fortuitous fashion when frontman Jordan Bowery's shot deflected off Williams and found a way past Imps keeper Josh Vickers.
Danny Cowley's side went close late on through Jason Shackell when his last-minute effort smacked off the underside of the crossbar, but the hosts did just enough to take all three points.
