Manchester United and Tottenham meet at Old Trafford live on Sky Sports on Sunday - but which of their summer signings are thriving and who hasn't lived up to expectations so far?
In the transfer window both clubs brought in four first-team players each.
Here, ahead of the big clash, we asked Soccer Saturday's Matt Le Tissier to assess the contributions of those new arrivals so far…
Manchester United
Zlatan Ibrahimovic - free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain
Le Tiss says: "He's been the best of Manchester United's summer signings. I'd say he's actually been a model pro and to play as many games at his age as he has shows he's looked after himself. He's also shown a great attitude and has been a good influence on the team, scoring 13 goals in all competitions."
Paul Pogba - £89m from Juventus
Le Tiss says: "He's not quite lived up to the hype, but that was always going to be difficult. There are certainly signs that he's a quality player but he's not really delivering consistency. He's not a hit at the moment but I expect him to improve as the season goes on."
Henrikh Mkhitaryan - £26.3m from Borussia Dortmund
Le Tiss says: "Again, he's not a hit at the moment, but he has started to shown signs of the form he is capable of. I'd expected him to be a hit but he's not quite been that yet. I think he ultimately will be in United's best XI and he's started to show he is capable of starting week-in, week-out but Jose Mourinho has obviously needed some convincing."
Eric Bailly - £30m from Villarreal
Le Tiss says: "Bailly is another one who is difficult to judge right now, with an injury keeping him out for the past few weeks. From what I've seen of him so far he's looked pretty decent and he certainly has all the physical attributes to be a centre-back. I think he will eventually turn out to be a very good signing but he's still pretty raw and at 22 he has a lot of room to improve, given most centre-backs come into their prime between 25 and 30."
Tottenham
Vincent Janssen - £17m from AZ
Le Tiss says: "He's not been a success at the moment but he's got room for improvement and it's going to take time for him to adapt to the Premier League. I think he's got tools to work with in terms of the quality he has but it's going to take him time to get used to it."
Moussa Sissoko - £30m from Newcastle United
Le Tiss says: "So far Sissoko has been a miss. He's only started four games and not really shone in any of them. He didn't cover himself in glory against Bournemouth with the elbow on Harry Arter, either. He was definitely a panic buy and £30m was always going to be much too much for him."
Victor Wanyama - £11m from Southampton
Le Tiss says: "I think Victor has been a hit. For the money they've paid for him he's done a very good job and breaks things up as good as anyone. He's even managed to get a goal. I obviously knew he was decent and it was a blow for Southampton to lose him."
Georges-Kevin N'Koudou - £11m from Marseille
Le Tiss says: "He's had a few substitute appearances and shown flashes of what he can do, so in time he'll show he's an asset for Spurs. He's young - just 21 years old - and he's got qualities that suggest he could be a success in this league if Mauricio Pochettino gives him chances."
