Yuta Ikeda conjured up a magical escape at the par-three 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass on Sunday with backspin and the backboard coming to his rescue.
In an incredible moment, Ikeda's tee shot looked to be heading for the dreaded drink surrounding the green.
Luckily for him, he added backspin to the ball and that was his saving grace as it took over and bounced off the railroad before spinning back into play.
After celebrating with his caddie, he ended up with a 21-footer for birdie, but settled for a two-putt for par.
Ikeda went on to complete the round in 74 and finish even par for the Players Championship, but he'll surely be going to bed dreaming of that lucky escape at the 17th.
