MMA star Paddy Pimblett is set to face Jared Gordon next on December 10 in Las Vegas.

The two will meet in a lightweight contest at the T-Mobile Arena at UFC 282.

In just three UFC performances Liverpool's Pimblett has developed a cult following. In his last fight in July, Pimblett submitted Jordan Leavitt at a packed O2 Arena in London and generated an overwhelming response when he spoke candidly about mental health afterwards.

That was his second UFC event at the O2, Pimblett had also submitted Rodrigo Vargas there in March, and his second consecutive Performance of the Night Award.

Against Gordon in December Pimblett returns to Las Vegas where he made his UFC debut only in September of last year.

In contrast Gordon has been competing in the promotion since 2017 and has won seven of his 11 UFC appearances, most recently taking a unanimous decision victory over Leonardo Santos in August.
